Description

This is the most recent Acrylic painting I've done. I finished it just before Comic Con 2008. I love the dynamic way some artists tilt the horizon line or planes in a picture and I was toying with it here. Adam Hughes' cover of Wonder Woman where she is standing in front of an abandoned Paradise Island served as inspiration for the background. It was the first painting where I tried my hand at that type of architecture and his lines are SOOOOO clean and perfect. It's also sort of an homage to him in the sense that NO ONE comes close to the covers he produces. I am a huge fan of his and enjoy saying hi to him and Allison when I see them at conventions :)
