DescriptionThis card was for the unpublished Deathmate card set from Image. The Deathmate crossover between Image and Valiant was a monumental train wreck, largely due to the Image side being delayed for months after the Valiant ones were released. Valiant even released their card set through Upper Deck, and that failed too. But the art on the Image side was awesome!This card was drawn by Ryan Benjamin for the Image set that was going to come out from Topps, but was canceled when the crossover tanked. Still, some great pieces of card art have popped up now and then, so I jumped at the chance to get this! Social/Sharing |
