Joe Matt's incredible and fully painted cover of PeepShow. Joe recently passed away suddenly at 60 years of age. I'm the same age. It hits hard on multiple levels. Such a great talent and gone way too soon. Folks, take care of yourself and live every day to the fullest.

What a beautiful cover. Accompanied by such terrible news. I didn't know until I just read it here. A terrible loss, I think we were all secretly hoping for some more from him at some point.

Joe was famously procrastinating on his next project. Everyone who loved his work couldn't wait for the next thing. I know he was working on stuff, I hope it gets published.

This makes you remember those days in your youth when you can ride your bike in the suburbs and feel carefree. It was probably one of Joe Matt's core memories about youth to put it on a cover. Like everything else he did, it cuts to the core as the truth can also bring about a pleasant memory.

Wow, I hadn't heard of his passing...that hits hard. I hope whatever he was working on gets to be seen at some point.
