DescriptionChris always makes his stuff both funny and cute. I supplied an idea for the character and he hit it out of the ballpark. Ah poor Supergirl, didn't even get to know ya. Thanks to Bob Shaw for helping set it up as is was done at home as a pre-order piece I picked up at NYCC 2010.Social/Sharing |

I wouldn't have minded Cir-El so much if she hadn't been such a transparent excuse for DC to trot out the "Lois Lane is an abusive wife" card yet again. Cir-El was never a character so much as a cheap plot device. Having said that, this art is really funny, and it sums up Cir-El in a nutshell.

Cir-El was indeed used as a plot device, which sucks, I really liked her, but not really for Lois being an abusive wife since it was pretty obvious from the start that Lois was acting off. As for the plot device if anything she was more of an excuse to make a Supergirl to take the fallout of Linda Danvers series ending so that when the new classic but modern Supergirl would be introduced Linda Danvers fans couldn't blame the newest Supergirl but Cir-El instead.

I liked this character and was sad to see her go. I wish she would have had more of a chance. Cute and funny sketch.
