DescriptionLOKI is leading a wild army of various savage foes of Agard over the Rainbow Bridge “Bifröst” at the beginning of Ragnarok (“The end of the gods”) and mighty Heimdall does his last stand, trying to prevent the invasion. But the events in this scenery are gladly shown only through a vision of the mystical Three Norn Witches, so the end of the world might be prevented in the last pages end of this glorious issue #200 and Asgard may survive this fateful day. Stunning page from Thor #200 by the great John Buscema! What a mind-blowing story this was, with Loki leading an army of Trolls and Giants and Demons across the Bifrost Rainbow Bridge and only Heimdall there to stop them! Love Buscema's portrait of a jealous Loki as he attempts to bring down Asgard. And that central panel with Loki leading the motley army of demons and trolls is jaw-dropping! But the best scene of all is that final one as Heimdall draws his sword in defiance of Loki and his evil minions! Great pick-up, congrats!
