DescriptionFrom a 5-part punch-fest mini-series in 2012 (directly after the Joss Whedon film)that explored the ever-evolving relationship between the Green Goliath and Earth's "mightiest" Marvel heroes then: the classic 1960's-era Avengers ! Great battle Action vs Iron Man (with the old-school helmet pattern and classic costume)! Nice artist team-up between the longtime buddies Tom DeFalco (writer), Ron (pen) + Sal (inks), who did many of various comics together beginning the Kirby/Lee inspired long, great + funny Thor run (highly recommended reading in my humble opinion !)in the late 1980s/early 1990s to the Spidergirl series. What I also love about this page is the JOHN Buscema style drawn Hulk (compare it to his Fantastic Four #111+112 art vs the Thing) - look up my "John Buscema" gallery for a nice Grey Hulk page (from Wolverine #7) where Big John himself drew the Hulk in Sal's (longtime-run) style and my Thor #193 (from 1971) page for a page from the brothers together on one page for comparison. And yeah, in my "KIRBY - esque art"-gallery is also Thor stuff from Ron with inks by Joe Sinnott and Don Heck !Social/Sharing |

Based on your comment, Tommy, a page that really hits on all cylinders for you - congrats! Sweet action oriented storytelling highlighted by that top panel. Iron Man really taking it to the Hulk...how long will this last?! :)
