DescriptionIMHO, this is the best Magneto cover ever published and one of my favorite covers from the X-MEN (Vol-2) serie. But maybe it's because Magneto is my favorite X-MEN character ;-)I was hunting that cover for months, and thanks to Andrew, I found it, and with his help, I was able to buy it from the previous owner. I would like to thank you again Andrew, it was very cool and a real pleasure to make this deal with you and your friend. What other description do I need for this ? I’m going to let this one speak for itself… One last thing : I thought that Jim Lee and David Finch were the best artists doing Magneto, but now I think that it’s also necessary to count on Ian Churchill… ;-) PS : I'm also looking for the X-Men #112 cover done by Ian Churchill... Hi Christophe, I am very pleased that I could help you in acquiring this cover from my good friend Matt. Having owned this beautiful cover a few years ago, I can vouch for the fact that Churchill's version of Magneto is as good, if not better, than ANYBODY who has ever drawn the master of magnetism.
I am happy to know that this awesome cover resides in such a deserving collection.

Wow!! This is one of my favorite covers as well. I agree that this image of Magneto is among the best ever drawn. I actually contacted the previous owner months ago about possibly selling it to me, but apparently it was not meant to be. I'm glad it's in the hands of one who truly appreciates the beauty of this piece. Congratulations, Crees!

Great cover. Churchill is totally underrated. He does everyone well, but this is spectacular!

Wow! Incredible! Thought it was Finch at first, but not surprised to see Churchill. He's got crazy skill as well.

In this piece, Churchill certainly gives Jim Lee some competition. The strong use of perspective and darkened foreground artifacts give the piece a nice depth, while the cross hatching on Magneto is superb. Congrats on a very nice cover!
