DescriptionThe first time when I saw this Phoenix, I had a flash !!! I had to get this pin up done by one of my 3 favorite artits.I know that this 2 amazing artists are probably going to work together at DC… David said one month ago, in an interview : « I'm really looking forward to having the opportunity to work with Scott Williams. He's the best inker there is and I’d love to get the opportunity to work with him. » That would be a fantastic team. I’m very happy to own that piece, the only piece here on CAF, penciled by David Finch and inked by Scott Williams. And believe me guys, it looks amazing in person. Social/Sharing |

I agree that this piece is nice. I have a Finch Spidey myself but I'll be honest, I'd rather get a DC character next. Marvel has fallen far from the mark

Imho, David Finch is the only one who can rival Byrne when it comes to drawing Phoenix. So this makes me wonder why I was not the one who bought that piece ;-) Anyway, well done my friend : this is a fantastic acquisition !

Wow the piece looks even better inked then when I originaly commissioned it from David. I'm glad it went to someone who really can enjoy it.

Would love to See Finch on Batman at DC. Williams is a terrific inker on most everyone and does a nice job with Finch's Phoenix here. Congratulations on a nice acquisition!
