Wow - that's a cracker of a page. Love that big panel.

Great JSA/JLA splash. It is funny how much I have come to appreciate Don Heck;s work over the years. It really shines in its original state.

When taken on its own, Heck's run stands proudly as one of the the very best on JLA--especially in its original form.

Don Heck is one of my favorite artists. A room full of characters or an intimate tender moment between two characters, he was able to draw it equally well.

I loved Heck;s work on JLA. Very under-rated run. Thanks for sharing. JC

Don Heck was amazing. If it wasn't for one irresponsible comment made by someone ese during an interview, his legacy would be solid. If there was a Mt. Rushmore of Marvel HE would be on it! When he inked himself on Avengers it was some of the most dynamic work this side of Kirby. Some thought his Caniff style did not translate to superheroes, but no one said that of John Romita. On this page his pencils look natural... for a natural setting. This is perfect.

I enjoyed Don Heck's work on the JLA, too. This is a truly stellar example of his work on the title. Check out the recent book on his life and work - it really added to my appreciation for his work, nicely illustrated, and had interesting behind-the-scenes information of his long career.

Great Page!! Each character is rendered very well in the splash, plus two of my favorites in a quiet moment. Very AWESOME!!

That half splash alone is worth whatever you paid for this page. Beautiful bit of Don Heck magic.
