Description

Mars Attacks cover D, art by Al Rio. Remnant from an unrealized comic project from 2005. Classic image of pretty girl in peril from alien lifeform. Reminds me a lot of Jack Kamen's EC covers.

Actually, the famous Wally Wood, whom was a vetran EC Illustrator designed and did most of the art for the original Mars Attacks cards. Awesome Rio piece! Congrats!

My comment regarding Kamen was primarily directed to the girl's face and expression. See his Crime Suspenstories and Shock Suspenstories covers to see what I mean. Thanks for the info on Wood's Mars Attacks! involvement; I was unaware of that.
