DescriptionBrett Booth has been keeping the Image 30th Anniversary fun for collectors by doing these "recovers" he is doing for all the early Image #1 covers. His Wildstorm redos have been awesome, but then he showed this off and I knew I had to have it. This one was meant to be mine, pure and simple, and with the help of my buddy Richard Oh I was able to get this. Richard is lightning fast in responding to drops like this and he knew I would want it and got his email in first for me and we got it! I couldn't have done it without him, so I am very appreciative of the friends this hobby has given me. :) Thanks, buddy!As for the piece itself, there are some changes Brett did, like changing the position of Bliss and Threshold's heads, adding Fairchild's costume under the torn hospital gown and changing her hair style, etc. but all in all it is a fantastic redo! I will have this inked separately via grayline and will share that when I get it as well. Thomas Mason inked and colored the piece on his own, so I am including his cover mock up he posted online, and it has his watermark. He did a great job, but I commissioned inker Adelso Corona to ink this for me, so I will post that when I get it. Social/Sharing |

I had a feeling you got this one :D Brett's been killing it with these homages, I almost jumped on that Cyber Force he did a ways back. Huge congrats man you should get Adelso to ink it!

The layout is unmistakable for those who had it ingrained in them through price guides and top 10 hot books lists in the 90's. Booth adds his own high intensity and action hyerdetails to claim this as his own.

i would've been more surprised if this wasn't in your gallery. as Booth knocked out a home run. there is another Gen13 #1 recreation i am aware of that is out of my price range i can guide you to. if you are intrested.
