Description

Dave Cockrum and the Legion of Super-Heroes represent my golden age of comic books. When I first read these stories I had no idea who most of these heroes were, but it didn�t matter � everything was so fast, so quick and so beautiful that it pulled me in. I never thought I would own a page by Cockrum, but in 2008 the planets (and my wallet) aligned.

One of my all-time favorite graphic devices is when the artist shows the universe in the shadows on a character's face. Dave Cockrum at his very best!
