It's kind of interesting to see the art from this series divorced from the politics (a lot of which, as in the original Dark Knight, is as dated as an old Pogo cartoon) and the mishmash of Miller's experimental storytelling. But to me, Miller's contributions were almost incidental to the amped up, frenetic and sometimes just plain bizarre Sienkiewicz art which kept me involved even when the story didn't. In this respect, this rather expressionistic painting of the larger-than-life callipygian SHIELD agent,Chastity McBryde, with her big hair, big earrings and big guns, all dressed in white like a reversed silhouette set against a wildly colorful background, kind of captures a small but telling part of the Elektra: Assassin experience.

Sienkiewicz captured the style, attitude, and flair of the 80s so well--awesome piece!
