DescriptionUnpublished cover art by Sam Glanzman (pencils & inks). This was drawn for the second (back) cover of G-8 and His Battle Aces/The Spider’s Web #1 and featured the character of Web Man, who was derived from the classic pulp character, The Spider!
An excellent example of Glanzman’s work! Condition: Signed by Sam Glanzman on the bottom right. Original measures 11” x 17” and is in Excellent condition. Note: The art is whiter than it appears in the scan. The scanner I’m using is giving it a yellowish tinge. A living legend, Sam Glanzman, is truly a man who needs no introduction. His career has spanned over 50+ years from the Golden Age of Comics to the present day. Some of the series bearing his unique style are KONA, US.S. STEVENS, JUNGLE TALES OF TARZAN, HAUNTED TANK, COMBAT, HERCULES, ATTU, JONAH HEX, A SAILOR’S STORY and hundreds of short stories for various comics.. Social/Sharing |
