DescriptionYou ever see a page in a comic or on CAF and think how much you would like to own it but never quite thinking that it would be possible? This is that page for me.I saw this page in 2012 and I was absolutely enamored with it and right away asked if it were for sale, it was not. Jump to 2018 and after some friendly prying and a little back and forth I was able to make the right offer and acquire the page from Frank (thank you Frank). In my opinion it’s the best Power Man and Iron Fist title page I have ever seen but of course I’m biased although It’s probably the best page in my collection. Social/Sharing |

Jim Novak lettered the hell out of this one. But seriously...WOW! This is a kick ass title page and so you. Congrats on bringing this baby home.

Villamonte went all out over Gammill on this. Looking at it in person, you are struck by an incredible sense of depth in the art. I believe it's the best designed and rendered title page of the run. Glad to know it will continue to be cherished!

What an absolute beauty of a splash! Wow! Richardo Villamonte may not be as renowned as other inkers but I remember that his inking was an absolute sight to behold! Congrats my friend!

Face it tiger...you just hit the jackpot! (No one said that yet, right?) This has to be one of the most memorable splashes in comics history. Congrats Steve!

After selling my comics collection back in 1994, I really missed certain runs I used to own and so decided to buy back a few runs on eBay, such as a run of Classic X-Men reprinting the entire Cockrum & Byrne runs, the first 50 issues of New Teen Titans by Pérez, etc. But I was equally as excited to buy back all the Gammill/Villamonte issues of their all too short run on PMIF, and to this day consider this run on par in artistic quality as the ones by the aforementioned artists who ended up with all the fame and glory. This brief run was an amazing tour de force that while still relatively unknown by the masses, truly ranks up with some of the more popular and well known artistic runs on any other title of the era. Magnificent splash, Steven, congratulations on getting it!

I never read Power Man and Iron Fist, am only marginally familiar with Gammill's work, and think this may be the first time I've seen Vilamonte's inks... if this page is any indication I have been missing out in a very big way. Congrats on landing this astoundingly impactful title splash, and thanks for sharing!

I paid too much at Heritage but I really wanted this unused cover by Al Williamson.

I have no idea the context of this splash, but i do know that the art just PULLS YOU IN!
This is what art is supposed to represent.......
Thank you so much for sharing!

Such an amazingly drawn piece. It doesn't matter whether you know the characters. It is like a circus poster and it is simply amazing with the tiger coming straight at the reader. Just a really fun and exciting page.
