What a fantastic looking scene! Is that the Hulk wearing a mask of some sort? Wait, don't answer that! Several friends have told me over a period of many years that this was a great series to read and I always wanted to give it a try but never did. However, I recently did acquire a copy of the first Thunderbolts TPB volume, so I'll get to it eventually and would rather be surprised. Rob Gomez is extremely Five Claw worthy!

Really great mix of the team at this point as the concept comes into its full promise with pure heroes and others who begin to question their own allegences. Bagley and Hanna's dyanmic artistry comes into play with the off kilter camera angle as the attention is tilted towards the team!

Nice composition and inks! I particularly like how it totally looks like the Hulk until you see that face! Congrats, man!

Whoaaa! Very cool page 1 splash, with Robo-Hulk confronting the Thunderbolts. Gorgeous work by Mark Bagley and Scott Hanna. I love the combative stance of Robo-Hulk here and the wary, uncertain looks on the faces of the Thunderbolts. Bagley's strong pencils are brought to life by the powerful inks of Scott Hanna. Love the use of lots of black here, making Robo-Hulk look more powerful than ever! Just a great splash!

Great page! I was eye-balling this one for a bit, but by the time I decided I wanted it, it was sold. Good to see that it went to a good home.
