DescriptionThe art in Werewolf by Night issue 9 was a high-water mark in regard to the penciling and inking that Tom Sutton brought to those pages. It's a shame that he didn't continue both chores for more issues. Glad to have this in my Marvel Bronze age collection.First Tatterdemalion, definitely a strong member of The Werewolf's Rogues Gallery. Social/Sharing |

Couldn't agree more. This very brief Sutton run on the title is one of my all time favorites from any artist in any era. I own two pages from this issue as well. Fantastic stuff!!!

There is a fiery envy in my brain! I loved this comic as a small child, and still do.

Lets hope fiery envy does not turn you into a werewolf.

Monster vs monster fight! Sutton can sure get the most out of this early return to horror era! Limited to the formats of the time, we could only feel the gritty look in the newsprint vs the more clear and masterful inks we see here.

Lady vs lady would get more views but less comments.

The narration is just gripping, to say nothing of the art (which is even more arresting). This page just birthed an interest in Werewolf by Night for me.
