Description

Superman Returns!! To say I'm happy about getting this piece is like saying China is only moderately populated. Those few of you who do know me on a more personal level know that my primary fuel for collecting comic art is nostalgia, and this, man, this is something nostalgic for me. I still remeber VIVIDLY buying this comic off the racks at the local mall. All the white bagged editions were long gone from the stores, my friends at school were fiending over them like rabid dogs, but I was personally more than satisfied by this version. I missed out on getting one of the original Doomsday covers a while ago, but getting this makes the blow seem much less severe.

I can't believe I never noticed this before, but then again, with the huge growth CAF has experienced over the years, it has become a "victim of its own success", since there is now so much art that a lot of great stuff easily gets past everyone. Either way, I love this great piece and I can actually feel your excitement in the description, Mike!
