DescriptionMan, after chasing it for about the last four years, I can finally call this one MINE! (I wont even get into the details of that odyssey...) The Death of Superman saga was THE story line for me as a kid. I bought every issue imaginable and read that darn TPB a zillion times. Usually every night before I went too sleep. Doomsday utterly fascinated me. I hope, that within my life time, I'll be able to track down every cover that was associated with that initial run. To date I know of only one other and it's sitting in a private collection in China! But even if I can't find anymore, Im content with just this one... Well, for now at least.Social/Sharing |

Congrats Michael. Sounds like quite the journey but it look like everything worked out.

May not have been the best or more enduring storyline, but those books were read by more people than have read any of the top ten books today (considering today's sales, probably more than all ten combined). And have been reprinted about another hundred times. What you got yourself there, my friend, is a classic. Congratulations!

Outside of the first Doomsday cover, I think this one is most memorable to me. Such a cool piece of artwork and it sounds like you loved the story too!!!! Congrats!!!!

Whoa, congrats, this is grail worthy! My favorite cover from the DOS, even though he's not even featured on it, lol!

Each cover from that story had its own significance and impact. This one is definitely top notch. Great one Mike.
