Description

I never would have thought I'd have a Spider-Wing piece featuring Eclipso!

However, when I commissioned the legendary Bart Sears to do a piece for me, I wanted to pick a character that he was associated with and would be a bit unique. I considered going with X-O Manowar, maybe Venom or Wolverine, but then remembered the "The Darkness" storyline that ran through all the DC annuals when I was younger and Bart did the mini-series.

Bart seemed to like the idea of using Eclipso, and you can tell by the results. I asked him to use whatever Nightwing costume he wanted, and I'm glad he went with the classic George Perez costume. Spider-Man looks incredible and I was blown away when I saw the Eclipso "Darkness".

Thank you so much to Bart and Michelle for making this a wonderful experience!

IMO, this is one of your best Spider/Wings pieces yet !! I'm a BIG fan of Sears Eclipso (nobody does him as well), and your piece is a beautiful throwback to some great times ! Congrats on this fine addition to your collection !

Bart's been a favorite of mine since the old wizard days. No one draws musculature better. This is a story I'd love to read
