DescriptionExcited to welcome to the 'McSpidey Fan Vault' ASM303pg23 - also my first page from ASM303!This five panel page is packed to the edges with McSpidey action: o Panel 1: Kraus' henchmen have jet packs (from Skywalker Ranch?) o Panel 2: They try to pin down Spidey but his agility helps him dodge their cannon blasts o Splashy middle here with Spidey leaping across the page left to right out of the panel (classic McFarlane) and dodging over 10 blasts. To do that, he has to go into his Toddfather crazy pose (broken hips I've heard some call it). Note the nice touch where his left foot breaks the page frame to really sell the 3D effect. Panel 4: Spidey realizes his thoughts are not keeping him in the moment so shoot a web to get out of the cross fire but... Panel 5: Instead his web snags on one of the baddies Signed by McFarlane under Spidey's foot -dated 1988 Issue published August 1988, was on stands in April At time of this posting page is 34yrs old! A stunner my friend! It almost feels like a Michael Bay movie's worth of action in a single page. Love it!

Web's come full circle, now art's home
Worth all the gold, bid with the chrome
And this is where you can always grin
You cannot lose the broken hip
And track above your auctions while you can
Art you can love, art you can lose
Art you can choose
Bid friendly McSpideyfan
It's the Spider eyes, the lines on the hand
It's Todd things you understand
Rocketpack flies from Skywalker Ranch
That's a measured McFarlane

Thanks EricB! Actually, after ~15yrs of what can only be called a McSpidey drought, I'm amazed at the number of pages that have come on the market lately we went famine->feast.

Wow, some outstanding aerial action coupled with a satisfying and effective web thwip at the end. The pose in the center panel is enough to send it all the way over the top. Stellar page.

These pages transport me back to the day these issues were released and my absolute amazement and awe of Todd's art kicks in every time. The art in Hulk and ASM from Todd was so revlutionary and it still blows me away. I wish Image hadn't taken him away from drawing Marvel. Congrats, thanks for sharing all these gems Scot!

Phenomenal McSpidey page! Love that middle panel showing Spidey's amazing dexterity! Also love the scene just below that with Spidey aiming his webshooter--Unsual angle for a Spidey artist to use!
