DescriptionGreat panel page with character action in the top and then our boy Petey puts on the black suit and swings into action in the very bottom frame.A great image by Todd here. Check out the city scape and the detail on that webbing! Social/Sharing |

Very kind of you to leave me all your Todd art in your will. (suggestion successfully implanted!)

Only twelve comments. Guess that means his art is becoming less popular. Tell you what, I will give a very generous offer of 500.00 dollars and take it off your hands before its value entirely disappears. As an example of what happens, wait'll you see the value of most silver age artwork drop off a cliff when all the baby boomers die off in the next few years. Sell early, while you can...Lol.

It's so funny. I went to the Joe Kubert School for a short time back in, what 1985/86? Not sure really, but the guys there were all making fun of Todd McFarlane and his just putting boots on all his characters. Then He EXPLODED on the scene when he started drawing Spider-Man. His work just blew everybody away, and this page is a primo example. Awesome.
P.S. - I was born one year too late to be a Baby-Boomer...but close enough.
