DescriptionThis is page 10 (or 15?) from Todd McFarlane’s Spider-man series, issue 3. Here are three dramatic panels. What’s there not to love about this page? In the first panel you see a great shot of Spidey’s exposed throat and the blood-hungry Lizard in a biologically impossible pose that reminds me of a snake unhinging it’s jaw to eat a big old fat mouse or something. Check the detail of each tooth, the rain and of course the DOOM DOOM DOOM.The other panels add cinematic effect by changing the “camera angle” on the Lizard and then zooming in to just show Lizard’s razor-sharp fangs and Spidey’s neck. Todd had a way or reinventing the look of spidermans rogues gallery, and spiderman himself. The Lizard was his most extensive reimagining and in my opinion his best. Stunning work by Todd MCfarlane at his best.
