DescriptionOne of my goals in life is now complete. I have an original commission of my favorite X-Man by my all-time favorite artist. I wanted to get the tall commission because I did not want to later regret holding back on this rare opportunity. It measures about 10x25. I wasn't sure which Rogue wardrobe to go with, so I gave Campbell a choice between two costumes from the 80's. Obviously, he chose the version when the X-Men moved to Australia during Silvestri's run. It's the most I ever spent for a commission but it was worth every dime (and mile). I can't thank Scott enough for how this turned out. And a special thank you also goes to Jim Clancy for his assistance. Wondercon 2009Social/Sharing |

I don't use the word "outrageous" enough. I was lucky enough to see this in person. It's even better when you see the look on Larry's face as he talks about it. Priceless. Congrats Larry you certainly put in the miles for this piece. Well deserved.

Amazing piece, Larry! Congrats on achieving a dream commission from J. Scott! I hope to get one myself someday, and this beauty only reaffirms that dream. (and it was definitely worth "going large" on the piece. You chose well:)
