DescriptionDETECTIVE COMICS #678 page 3, illustrated by Graham Nolan and Bob McLeod.In this ZERO HOUR issue, Batman finds himself in a different timeline where his parents are alive, but as revealed in this page, there's a twisted twist to the proceedings... This 'done-in-one' issue predated FLASHPOINT by 11 years, and did just as good a job with a very similar high concept. Graham Nolan is one of the most underrated Batman artists and had a very solid and entertaining run on DETECTIVE COMICS. This issue marks the first time Nolan was inked by the fantastic Bob McLeod and the result is quite stunning IMO. Social/Sharing |

Great page Gal! I love this version of Batman from this era where the costume still had the oval around the chest logo. Agreed on your comment about Graham Nolan. He did a great run on that title.

Really nice page, Gal! The top tier of panels is especially beautiful, particularly the one with Batman having the shadow of the window bars fall on him. Enjoy it!
