Ebay purchase January 2009. I already have quite a few Paul Smith's, but I'll take as many as I can win. I absolutely love the pose on this one. The fact that it's the old costume with the little backpack is SWEET too. I'm not sure he even used that thing for more than one issue. Bravo to Paul for putting it in this sketch.

Very nice. I may be mistaken, but I think he only had that backpack for one or two issues. He realized dang quick it was a liability. 1) It gives the baddies something to grab and 2) if someone were to see his "street" clothes they'd also likely find his wallet etc and he'd be outed. Regardless of all that gibberish...this is a beautiful drawing!

Love those clean lines, and the shading on the boots and the torso is wonderful! When is this from? Beautiful piece!
