DescriptionI have always loved the goofiness of some of the Silver-Age DC stuff. The Inferior Five is one such concept that sadly seems to be fading from comics fan's common knowledge. I have been wanting to get an I5 commission for some time. While trying to come up with a concept for it, I was browsing the GCD and thought of an homage to the first appearance of the Justice League in Brave and the Bold 28. Starro seemed to be a perfect match for the silliness of the I5, what could be more ridiculous than a giant starfish villain? And yet somehow it works!A friend recently introduced me to Dana's work (thanks, Ari!). When I contacted Dana he did prove to be eager to do it, and in fact did a fantastic job! He managed to inbue all the characters with personality, and even make Starro somewhat menacing! And his color work is superb! Social/Sharing |

That is really great! I, too, am an Inferior Five fan and was glad to see they haven't been completely forgotten when they showed up in the Bat-Mite miniseries recently.
