I asked Alan for a Ben Grimm sketch, and he asked "Ben Grimm or the Thing? If I draw Ben Grimm, no one will know who it is". So I conceded I wanted the Thing, my favorite Marvel character. And then he surprised me by adding Ben as a bonus! What a guy!
