I was able to get a terrific Dr. Strange from Mike a few years ago, and ever since I've been thinking about how great it would be to get a companion piece of Dr. Fate from him. Several art drops came and went, but no Dr. Fate. Finally in February there was another art drop and thanks to the previews Tatiana posted, I knew there was an absolutely gorgeous Dr. Fate included. In my opinion, it was the best-looking piece in the whole drop. So at the appointed time, I put in my request as quickly as I could, and I got lucky!

Those are some great colors !! I like the shade of blue that he chose. Nice mystical background.

WOW - incredible piece, Bill! So many great McKone elements on stunning display here. Along with the very unique color palette (and "typical" McKone watercolor excellence), you have a VERY striking composition (especially with that cape floating away, off to the top right - love it!) with a strong sense of design. I love all the mystical "bubbles", as well as the lighting source from below... It's absolutely bonkers how effectively Mike makes our favorite heroes look so _impossibly_ heroic, while at the same time natural and "unposed". Yowza! Congrats on scoring this beauty - heading in to the drop armed and ready netted you the prize piece... Some would call it... FATE! Sincere congrats, Bill!
