Description

So... in 2012 I went to Big Wow with the intention of commissioning Joe Linsner. I wasn't sure WHAT I was going to commission yet, but I knew it would be amazing. And I am obsessed with Firefly. Several times over the past 5 years I have tried to get a Saffron from different artists at cons. My first attempt was at Wondecon in Sn Francisco. I was first in line for Adam Hughes. I told Adam and Allison I wanted a Saffron. They smiled and i felt good about my chances, but alas, it was not to be. At Heroes I tried to get a Saffron from Brian Stelfreeze. Brian looked at my reference pictures, smiled and winked. Yet again, it was not to be. Artist after artist, Saffron became the "almost" commission time after time. Finally, at Big Wow 2013, I saw my Saffron. Now to get another one... hope it doesn't take as long...
