Description

An early 1942 piece from Irwin Hasen. One of the earliest pieces of Golden Age Green Lantern Art that I've seen around, it's got an early version of the GL oath and Alan Scott taking on a bunch of crooks blackmailing a florist. Green Lantern adventures were a bit less cosmic back then.

Congrads a very cool Golden age GL pg! I wonder how many Golden Age pgs still actually exisit? Sad so much historical & beautiful art is probably lost forever.

It's definitely cool that this page survived, and that you were able to add it to your collection. That panel of Alan Scott charging his ring is a very dramatic image.
