Description

Humberto was one of the artists I was hoping to get a quick sketch from in WizardWorld:Philly in 2007. I went by his table a few minutes after entering the con and saw there were only about 8 people in line. I figured I would wait a bit. Sadly, I didn't realize that the people in front of me were getting multiple sketches! I stood in line for almost 4 hours before I got to Humberto. He was pressed for time but he said he would take care of me and the person behind, who was waiting just as long. I saw him drawing Cap and Spidey out the wazoo, so I asked for Mary Jane, since I loved his run on the Spidey books. He just smiled and went to work. A few minutes later, he handed me this and asked if I liked it! Humberto is a class act and this sketch was wonderful! Easily one of my favorites!
