This one just in from the Wayback Machine!

Iron Fist #8 was one of John Byrne’s earliest published covers for Marvel and his only Iron Fist cover—released in July 1976 with a cover date of October 1976 (Jungle Action #23 being September 1976). I know I wasn’t the only one blown away by this cover—it was so good. How was it possible Marvel hadn’t then assigned Byrne the remaining covers for Iron Fist, whatta buncha maroons. Anyway, I had alotta fun freehanding this little reimagining, way back at the very beginning of the 90’s!
