Beautiful pencil piece I bought directly from Mr. Gogos at a convention. I privided a scan of the art, which was published in the excellent book, FAMOUS MONSTER MOVIE ART OF BASIL GOGOS.

I cannot resist commenting on these Gogos drawings. They are absolutely gorgeous (in a horrifying monster kind of way, of course). These old monster movies were as big a part of my childhood as comics were.

Not one masterpiece but TWO! Does it get any better than this? I would love to know his commission price but I probably shouldn't be tempted.

Beautiful - I've always loved his artwork and this is one of my favorites.
