Description

I met Brian Anderson @ November 2, 2008's Boston Comicon organized by the great Jim Talbot. Brian is incredibly multi-talented. I flipped through his personal sketchbook and really liked his linework. Bernie Wrightson was the guest of honor at the show and Brian said he was greatly influenced by Bernie so he was excited when I asked him for a Swampthing. He has been doing a daily strip (in a totally different, cartoony style) published in around 200 newspapers all over the world called "Dog Eat Doug" and has recently had a collective of the strips published. Shawn, my boy!!! Damn you got some real goodies at this con. This one in particular tips my tea. Really enjoying this cat's style. Great gritty detailing on the render, he really captured S.T. hands down!!! EXCELLENT, EXCELLNT 'GET' on this pup!!! Man, you always get me gitty with your nabs at these cons. Especially when I'm there to see you racing around, and can see the batch in person at the end of the show. WIsh I could hit every one withya buddy! SALUTE!!!!
