Back in 2017, Catawiki auctioned off this piece to help a girl with a brain tumor.

I liked the piece but I couldn't bid much at the time. I worked out a deal with a friend to win for me. I would trade an Alan Davis Genesis #4 cover if he won.

A young girl got money to help pay for medical bills. I got a cool Spidey drawing. My friend got an Alan Davis cover. Everything worked out.

In the great tradition of Spider-Man covers that uses a circular background that he busts out of like ASM 300, 301, etc. this cover is a celebration of Spider-Man by the talented Barry Kitson. Celebrates not only Spider-Man and Black Cat, but it was posted today on 4/1/22 in honor of the Morbius film that makes it's official theatrical debut!

Love the rogues gallery, and for a character that's surprisingly difficult to draw, he did a great job on Spidey.
