Oh, you got this. Cool. I was tracking this auction and thought about making a play myself. If you've seen the Mignola documentary where he talks about an old apartment building that he and Art Adams used to live in. The only time I met Art Nichols was when I went to see Mignola at his place and they were all there hanging out. Art Adams, Art Nichols, Steve Purcell, and of course Mignola. I'll admit I had no idea who the guy was. But this is an awesome piece. Congrats on taking it down. Must look great in person.

The astral plane in all it's mindbending weirdness! Not to be comprehended by the human mind! If Art Nichols ever returns from the astral plane, there would be a lot of collectors who would want to talk to him.

Phenomenal illustration by Art Nichoils! I just love this mind-bendingly cool drawing of the astral plane! Up on the top left you've got the the dread Dormammu conjuring up a spell that appears like a black lightning bolt that arcs its way through the astral plane towards Doctor Strange. But the Sorceror Supreme has conjured up a magical shield that deflects Dormammu's spell. Truly a jaw-dropping piece of art by Nichols! I hope it's up on your wall where you can enjoy it every day!
