Description

This is the last, and another great, page from Tales of the Unexpected #49, cover dated May 1960. This is page nine of the nine-page story, The Alien Wizard , written by Edmond Hamilton with art by Jim Mooney. In this closing page, Zastro the evil alien wizard, has created an illusion that there are three of him. Space Ranger throws pepper at the wizard causing him to sneeze and ruin his illusion. We see not only Space Ranger and his girlfriend, Myra Mason. in action against an evil space wizard but a great shot of Cryll... worth the price of the page. And the last panel is exceptional!

Bob Brown did most of the art on Space Ranger, but here was a rare, and gorgeous page by Mooney.
