DescriptionWhat I did here is giving the cover to Giorgio Comolo and have him pencil and ink the frame that distinguished all the 25th anniversary book on it.Well, not really...I love Giorgio and his works, but something like that would be very unlikely to happen! So, what actually happened is this: A) I scanned the actual published cover at 1000dpi; B) visualized it in Photoshop at 200%; C) cleaned the whole thing up, meaning that I went in and erased any and all colors, leaving only the blacks and correcting parts that were badly printed; E) selected the blacks, which weren't actually 100% black and filled'em in with full black; F) overlaid the blacks on the cover scan. Since this process took several hours, I didn't do it for the scan only, but will now have the overlay file printed on mylar and then frame it on top of the cover, likely with some whiteout on the back where the frame is not supposed to have actual art showing through. Okay, you lost me after "I scanned the actual published cover at 1000dpi." But however it was done, I cannot argue with the results. This looks magnificent, Enrico.

Great piece to own. One of my favorite covers. 1000 dpi? a person can have lunch during that scan. :)
