DescriptionThis is the first post 2010 Marvel cover I've ever bought. (Star Wars doesnt count.) I wanted it pretty much soon as I saw the published cover in the shop. While yes, its Gwenon vs Mary Jane Carnage, which is cool... But really what sold me is it's the first time I've seen the symbiote look alien like that. Usually the symbiote is portrayed as some living goo with elastic properties. Yes, that in itself is foreign and alien. But Ken's rendition on this particular piece looks meaty and like something outta a Ridley Scott movie, which I just think is a really cool take.Social/Sharing |

Incredible mash up of the horror, hero, and good girl genres in the current age of comics where the overiding emphasis on these themes sell really well with audiences.

Crazy cool cover! One half horror mag and one half Superhero comic. And I mean that as a compliment.
