DescriptionThis is the most I've ever paid for a piece, and probably the most I'll ever pay for a while. I know it was probably a tad over priced, but I just couldn't take the gamble of someone being an even bigger fan than I am grabbing it and keeping it forever. The Dark Tower is my Lord of the Rings. I started reading it when I was 21 years old, and the words/story/ideas contained within continue to influence my own work to this day. I've been OBSESSED with the Crimson King since his name was first mentioned in The Wastelands (DT3), and since I'll probably never own Michael Whelans painting of him atop his throne, this iconic cover will have to do.Social/Sharing |

I don't think you will ever regret spending the money. This will be a very sought after cover in the coming decades. The Dark Tower has been a part of my life since I was a boy too, and I understand how important this piece must be to you. I have picked up seven pages from this series so far and am awaiting several in the mail. I think we will see other Marvel renditions of Stephen King books over the next decade or so. This is an amazing cover and I am impressed. Congrats.

really cool to read such story. I can really feel that, I had the the same feelings for my darkchylde covers, but they arent as much important as what a King Book must be too someone ...

I loved The Stand but I missed the boat on The Dark Tower. Nonetheless, I do appreciate your passion and Jae Lee's art is amazing. It's always great to see a collector get exactly what he or she wants. (Plus you have inspired me to look for the Michael Wheelan painting.)
