With green being my favorite color, it would be easy enough to love this painting even without all the fabulous detail. Very few illustrators can capture the beauty of a forest like Charles Vess. One of the best examples of this artist that I've ever seen! Eternally envious!

I'm not sure if there could be a more "Charles Vess" piece. This kind of has everything that screams Charles Vess. It's just a fantastic piece of art!

Any illustration instructor would glide home on a cloud after one session with Charles Vess in their class. The dream of every teacher to have a talent like that sit in one of their seats.
