Avengers #23, p. 2-3

This has passed through a couple hands recently, but the buck stops here. I've waited a long time to get the perfect Perez piece and I finally found it. I missed two earlier opportunities to get this and I couldn't let it fall through again. First, there's so many things going on in here. It's not an image that you just glance at and move on. It takes a good ten minutes to absorb everything. Second, the space of the room just pops out at me. I don't know if I can explain this properly. The art doesn't feel flat like most do for me. Like it actually feels that Iron Man is right next to me and cap is 30 feet away. I've seen the danger room drawn a million times in X-Men books, but this is the first time that I ever saw a room and it felt 3-dimensional. Thanks to Alex and Bill for this masterpiece.

Definitely a top-notch Perez piece for sure. Personally my favorite part is the Black Panther back there. so frickin' cool!

I love your description Larry ! It makes me regret this piece even more... And you're right : this is the kind of piece you need to look at for a looooooooong time as EVERY detail is just perfect. Congratulations : it has found the best home !
