Description

This is page 13 of Excalibur #12 (September, 1989), with pencils by Alan Davis, inks by Paul Neary and script by Chris Claremont. The page humorously focuses on members of the Technet gang China Doll and Waxworks, revealing Scatterbrain and Gatecrasher in the final large panel. This was part of the first installment in the "Cross-Time Caper" story arc.

The page is in excellent condition. It differs from the published version in that the speech balloons were created separately to be mounted during the production process, and are thus absent here. While this makes the page a little less lively, it allows to have a peek at the full art as it was originally drawn before the balloons were added. The page shows only faint residual traces where the speech balloons stood before they were eventually removed.
