DescriptionI finally attened my first comic convention, Florida Supercon. It was a lot of fun meeting some of my favorite artists and watching them draw. One of the highlights of the entire convention for me was having my daughter watch Doug Mahnke draw a princess for her. Doug is one of, if not THE, most gracious artists I have ever met. Everyone knows what a big talent he is, but few know how big hearted he is. He made my daughter's day. The Batman sketch that he did for me will followSocial/Sharing |

This just proves my theory that every time you post a picture of a cute girl on CAF, you will get comments - LOL! Glad to see that you are enjoying great moments with your beautiful family. All the best!

ABSOLUTELY !! The best moments at any con I've attended are the times when the pros reach out to my kids and make them smile. Several pros have really floored me over the years with their graciousness towards the kids - Neal Adams, Terry Dodson, Matt Wagner, Mark Bagley, Wayne Osbourne (writer), Peter David (writer). It's awesome. Great photo -- even better memory. Your little girl is beautiful.

As far as Bronze Age Batman artists are concerned, does your daughter prefer the work of Neal Adams or Dick Giordano?

This is a really neat photo and Doug is quite the sweetheart. That's not to take anything away from the little sweetheart sitting next to him either. ;) From all the times I've seen Doug at conventions, it never ceases to amaze me how giving he is. That's a cool memory you have there, congrats.
