Description

John Romita, Sr Original Pencil and Ink "Historically Significant " Commercial Art depicting Captain America and Spiderman, circa 1970s, with New York Skyline in background, to include the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Mr. Romita was gracious enough to autograph this piece for me on 4/17/1999 at the Oakland, CA WonderCon Comic Book Convention.

This deserves more than 4 comments......and I've seen multiple pieces from this Oakland '99 show. I really wish I could've been there!

Very cool piece, I love all of Romita's commercial and promo art--so clean and precise, and fun to see pieces like this that are new to me. And you couldn't ask for two better characters in a Romita piece!
