Great era of the Legion from 1969 with wacky stories. It has the Eye / Emerald Empress and Tharok of the Fatal Five to make this page even cooler for fans of Legion and Karate Kid.

Jim Shooter brought Marvel-style action to LSH, downplaying the "hurt feelings" drama that often dominated the series prior to his involvement. He quickly gave the Legion a memorable enemy team to test their strength.
