Description

Antonio J. Gabriele Tapestry of Terror Paperback Cover Original Art (Ace Books, 1975). This gouache on board illustration appeared on the cover of Marianne Ruth's romance novel Tapestry of Terror, Ace Books, 1975. this piece has an image area of 12" x 19", and the art is in Excellent condition. Signed indistinctly at the lower center. From the Estate of Charles Martignette.

These painted paperback covers are very nice and Charles Martignette probably had thousands of those. Congrats, Nes.

It is a beautiful painting, and very interesting to find they used a mirror image of it on the actual cover.
