DescriptionI know I wanted ONE commission by Marc. And I knew it will be the only one I'd ever be able to afford from him, so this one had to be MAJOR. THAT it is. Marc listened to every wish and made it one killer piece. I cannot say THANK YOU often enough for that.Despite all the rich details and please note, it's ALL pencils, there's also some emotional value to it, it's dedicated to my gran, who passed away a couple of years ago. A real life survivor, adventurer and one bad ass woman, just like Lara here. Social/Sharing |

Art like this is scarce nowadays! it does bring back thoughts of chromium-covers , ace-editions etc. Ow what a keeper this is! Congrats bb on this killerpiece!

This is incredibly gorgeous. And seriously, you should totally have Joe Weems ink this, he's the very best over Marc and will make this an even more amazing piece :-)

I really envy those of you able to get on Marc's commission list. I think he's been doing career best art and this is a perfect example. Silvestri captured Lara Croft's fearless adventurer attitude and filled the scene with atmospherics. Marc is one of, it not my favorite comic book artist. he knows how to push all the buttons that made "marvel way" superhero art so appealing in past eras but without any nostalgia. Congratulations! This is a pretty big score.

I imagine the details look much better in person, but this looks amazing. Marc's latest commissions have been phenomenal, and this is no exception. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing the story of its dedication!
