DescriptionApologies for the poor image. I need to make a scan but was eager to post this up.Well, here's a grail ticked off. A page from the seminal Claremont/Miller/Rubenstein Wolverine mini series from 1982. Wolverine has just slayed a bear which was suffering from a wound some local hunters inflicted. He goes into the bar to look for the hunters, gets bopped in the face and then process to beat the crap out of the lot The word balloons have fallen off the page. I'll need to get an acetate overlay with the work balloons made. What else can I say? Signed by Frank and Joe in the bottom left corner. Social/Sharing |

Miller was not the slickest artist, but he really got you into the story with a panache like no other.

People went bonkers for this comic in the eighties. What a nice acquisition. Something to really brag about.

Great page from a landmark story with superb Miller action. Wolverine in a brawl in a bar, nuff said!

As a fellow owner of a page from this issue, I wish you all the best in re-assembling the word balloons/word captions. This page had a lot of them. I am missing the three on my page, but they were minimal in telling the story. Thanks much for uploading this page to your gallery.
